May 31 – June 30, 2019
Caroline Mayer, bird lover and Baker Park regular, delves into the beautiful birds of the Frederick area and muses on two things: how do birds perceive their world, and how she perceives the birds themselves. This unusual representation of birds is a departure from reality — although the birds are realistically depicted. Their energies, songs, and movements are represented visually, and this encourages us to consider nature in a new way.
