Louise is a self-taught artist and has been drawing and painting all of her life. Exploration of various mediums has allowed her to understand what medium (oil, pastel, watercolor, printmaking) she should choose in order to best express herself. She is continually evolving, and for her the journey is the joy. She has a studio at the Griffin Art Center, right above the NOMA Gallery. Louise is a Signature Member of the Maryland Pastel Society, having won second place in their national juried show, and she attends figure drawing sessions weekly.
