Shawn M. Lockhart (Mara Artworks) has been passionate about relief printmaking (wood and linoleum block printing) for over 40 years. She is a graduate of Maryland College of Art & Design. Shawn has exhibited her work extensively in the eastern US and in the west of Ireland, where she lived from 2002-2004. She has taught classes and workshops
both in the US and in Ireland. Her artwork is in collections worldwide. Though often labeled a “celtic printmaker,” Shawn draws inspiration from a deep well of archetypal, mythic, and dream imagery as well as the natural world. www.facebook.com/mara.artworks
