Artists’ Invitational 2020

Dear Invitational Guest,

Thank you so much for joining us during NOMA gallery’s Artists’ Invitational 2020 January show. We are thrilled with the immense talent to be showcased within our gallery walls.

NOMA gallery is located at 437 North Market St., Frederick, MD, 21701. Our gallery hours are Fridays 4-8pm, Saturdays 12-8pm and Sundays 12-4pm.

Artists are invited to bring 2 pieces that are for sale. A diptych or triptych will be considered 1 piece, however, if there are space constraints they may be stacked. NOMA does have pedestals available for 3-D work. NOMA has standard white pedestals and a rail hanging system. If your work needs special pedestals or special hanging devices, please provide it.

Your work needs to be dropped off at NOMA gallery during the following days and times:
Friday, Dec 27 from 4-8pm
Saturday Dec 28 from Noon -8pm
Sunday Dec 29 From Noon – 3pm.
NOTE: The gallery will be open until 5 on this day, but there will be an Artists Talk going on, and it will be disruptive if you are moving in artwork during that time. Please try and have your art in BEFORE 3pm on this day. 

If you cannot drop work off during these times, please coordinate with the artist who invited you.

 

We will provide digital invitations for you to send by email or use on social media to invite your collectors and friends. We will email you this, and you’ll also be able to share it from our NOMA gallery Facebook page.

The show will run January 3–26, 2020.

NOMA will host a Reception coinciding with Frederick’s 1st Saturdays: January 4, 2020, 5–9pm. Please plan on attending to mingle with the public, answer questions about your work, and meet our partners.

NOMA will hold an Artists’ Talk on Thursday, January 16, 7–8:30pm. If you are interested in participating, please contact Kesra at 301-471-7124 or kesrah@aol.com.

If/when work sells during the run of the show, and the purchaser needs to take it with them, we welcome you to bring in a replacement piece for the hanging committee to install for you.

NOMA will retain 40% commission for any work sold during the run of the show. A contract will be emailed to you. Please sign this and bring it in with your work.

Artists are responsible for their own insurance.

Any unsold work should be picked up Sunday, January 26, between 4 and 6pm. If you cannot pick up your work, please arrange its removal with the person who invited you.
