Wanda Taylor Remington

I see a cartoon self: a big eyeball, an R Crumb-ish Ms. Natural in walking meditation with camera as tool, as sketchbook, later working in whatever medium best supports the original concept.

My art career spans over four decades, showing professionally in DC, Maryland, Virginia, and NY. I have taught drawing to adults and children.

A grateful nod to William Christenberry, Leon Berkowitz at Corcoran School of Art back in the day. To music, poetry, trees, friendship, family, java. To Beginner’s Mind….

“If you will stay close to nature, to its simplicity, to the small things hardly noticeable, those things can unexpectedly become great and immeasurable.”
~ Rainer Maria Rilke

“We shall not cease from exploration and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.”
